Dress Code

 

Vocal and Acting Classes:  Any clothing/shoes students are comfortable in. 

 

Dance Classes: Students should rehearse in dance clothes for all dance classes and rehearsals. 

          Crop tops, tank tops, leggings, booty shorts, athletic shorts, leotards, tights, etc are all examples of dance attire. 

No jeans, skirts, dresses or school uniforms.

 

NO STREET SHOES IN THE DANCE STUDIO. 

 

Slip on, split sole jazz shoes in tan or black required for all dance classes. These can be leather or canvas.

 

Hair should be pulled back in a ponytail, braid or bun for all dance classes or dance rehearsals. Students should wear cover-ups and street shoes in and out of the studio.

 

Production Shoes:

These are the shoes students should be rehearsing in. Most often, rehearsal shoes will be used on stage unless your character requires a certain look.  

                                                                                                                                      

All Male cast members will need black, slip-on jazz shoes in canvas or leather.

  

All Female cast members will need tan character shoes. They can be T-Strap or regular and any heel height your dancer is comfortable in.  Students under 10yrs old may wear tan jazz shoes if they are uncomfortable in heels.
