The first Pride Night at Woodlawn Theatre will take place on Saturday, March 3, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm followed by The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber performance on Woodlawn’s mainstage.

To celebrate Pride Nights, all Pride Night guests will be treated to discounted show tickets, along with pre-show socials in the theatre lobby featuring complimentary food, drink specials, and live music. Scheduled are a total of six Woodlawn Theatre Pride Nights, dates are as follows:

  • Annie – December 1, 2018

Known for their award-winning musical theatre productions, Woodlawn Theatre has long been committed to inclusivity in all aspects of their organization and the addition of Pride Nights is a natural progression for the performing arts theatre. “To celebrate San Antonio’s wonderfully diverse community, we choose to host a Pride Night of every run for our upcoming 2018 shows,” states Woodlawn Theatre Executive/Artistic Director Christopher Rodriguez.

Collaborating with Woodlawn Theatre Pride Nights is Luther’s Café, a popular San Antonio eatery located on N. Main Avenue. “Luther’s Café has always supported both the Arts and Diversity here in San Antonio,” says Scott Lee-Ross, Marketing Director of Luther’s Café. “We look forward to again combining these goals with our support of the Pride Nights at the Woodlawn Theater.”

The intention of the newly developed Woodlawn Theatre Pride Nights is to bring together members of the community in an engaging environment for an evening of entertainment and performance. “Whether you’re single, married, or with kids, everyone has a place at our theatre,” states Rodriguez. “We invite the LGBTQ+ community to meet, mix and mingle and, of course, enjoy a fabulous show.”
